Hi friends! If you’ve been around a while, you are not at all surprised that our family is on the move – again! I will now be among the photographers in Montgomery, Alabama! This is our 5th PCS in 12 years so we have this moving thing down!

If you don’t know me, I’m Melissa! I’m an military spouse & mom of two. I’ve have had the pleasure of photographing people with my business for over seven years. I am relocating from Dayton, Ohio to Montgomery, Alabama in July 2023. I’ve successfully run my business in Texas, Hawaii, Virginia, & Ohio! It’s a whirlwind to move so often, but I love getting connected in new places . I serve both military and civilian families alike!

We are an Air Force family and Maxwell AFB will be our 6th duty station!

I specialize in families, & newborns/children. The reason I started my business was because of my kids. I fell in love with documenting their moments. I started offering sessions to friends when we lived in Texas and built my first portfolio. Then we moved to Hawaii and I was able to serve so many military families who wanted beautiful photos on the beach, especially to share with family far away.

I restarted my business again in Virginia, opened my studio for newborns and children, & have loved exploring the Blue Ridge mountain landscapes. I am looking forward to seeing what Ohio has to offer and excited to get connected with the Wright-Patterson AFB community!

In-home Lifestyle Newborn & Baby Photography in Montgomery, AL

My love of newborn photography began with my own newborn. In the past I have had the luxury of having a studio space to do studio newborn work. I do not have the space or means to have a studio for my short time in Montgomery. I am able to offer in-home lifestyle newborn sessions or posed sessions outdoors when weather permitting.
