Jackie & Joe met me at The Mill at Fine Creek – their wedding venue – for a beautiful day in spring for their engagement session.

I love doing engagement sessions at the wedding venue because it provides my couples with a meaningful “before and after” of their relationship in photos. And as a bonus, I get to scope out the wedding venue and see how it photographs. As your wedding photographer, I will go tour a wedding venue beforehand anyway. But it’s a bonus if I can photograph you there ahead of time.

Both Jackie & Joe told me the same song and dance that almost all my clients tell me – we’re awkward in front of the camera, you’re going to hate us, we need all the help! I know it’s easy to feel that way when you’re not used to being photographed a lot, but I’m here to tell you it’s just NOT true!

The couple are also huge baseball fans, despite their preference in teams. I love adding a personal touch like this. Their wedding will also have some baseball elements!

Like many couples in 2020, they chose to postpone their day. Their original date was in November of 2020. Now we are excited for August of 2021 to come back to this beautiful place and have their big party! I can’t wait!
