Check out these Professional Newborn Photos in Northern Virginia. Henry was an absolute angel for his newborn session at 8 days old. Being a newborn photographer is one of my favorite parts of my business. I love getting to create timeless newborn images like this for growing families like Henry’s.

His happy parents brought him in and new big brother who was very sweet with him. This session happened in January 2020, so right before COVID-19 hit and I closed my studio. And also a cold month, so the studio was perfect to stay nice a toasty. 

Mama just wanted neutral and simple set ups, which I love. Mom is wearing a dress from my client closet that flattered her well (and is nursing friendly!).

Lots of second-time moms worry about a toddler and a new baby. While they may not always turn out super perfect, these are my two go-to shots for toddlers with new babies. Laying down (and a kiss doesn’t hurt!) and the new baby in a bucket with the toddler next to them so they don’t have to support the baby.

I just love photographing new babies in neutrals!
