I met Sarah & Keith in fall of 2019 for a couples session. We realized that we had both lived in Hawaii before! It’s always nice to have something in common with my clients. Sarah realized I took newborn photos as well, so she said maybe she’d be in touch soon if they were to get pregnant – and they did!
We had this session in the summer before Sarah was due with their baby girl, Savannah. We met at Chris Greene Lake Park for a casual session to document this special time for them before they became parents.
Lots of expecting moms feel warry of having themselves documented during pregnancy. Even though your clothes might not fit so well anymore and you may be feeling all sorts of not yourself, not a single one of my clients ever regrets documenting their pregnancy.
I know as an expecting mom myself, I was very hesitant to have a maternity session at all. So with my first baby, I didn’t have anything but a horrible photo my husband took of me in the kitchen at about 38 weeks pregnant cooking some pancakes! Trust me – that’s not how you want to remember this time.
If you have any hesitations, I assure you I’ve worked with lots of different body types and can make sure you are posed in a flattering way for your particular shape. Although pregnancy is a mixed bag, I am confident I can document anyone’s pregnancy in a beautiful way.
A couple weeks later, I came to their home for a newborn lifestyle session for sweet Savannah’s arrival!
