Today I’m pleased to share my last wedding event from Virginia, right before I moved to Ohio. I’m pleased to be among wedding photographers in Dayton Ohio now, but my Virginia clients will always hold a special place in my heart.

Like many 2020 couples, Melanie & Chris were not able to have the original wedding event they planned. They got married in 2020 but with only about ten family members present due to COVID restrictions. They had a one year anniversary party and vow renewal with the other family and friends that could not be there in August of 2021. I’m so happy they were able to celebrate their day with the people who care about them most.

Despite COVID times making lots of events smaller, I am a big fan of non-traditional, smaller, and more informal wedding events like this. However you want to do your special day is the best way to do it, and for some couples, that means a smaller more casual event.
