Chaney & Connor had a beautiful June wedding at Running Mare Farm in Maidens, Virginia, just a bit outside of Richmond. Their original wedding plans, like many couple’s, got changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple was thankfully still able to have their day, just a bit modified. They had a small ceremony with just their family and a few friends in their bridal party, and then had a private reception at Chaney’s parents house afterward. Chaney & Connor plan to have a bigger more formal celebration back at Running Mare in spring of 2021.

Chaney & Connor | Running Mare Farm Wedding

Their wedding party was a total blast, so excited for their special day and to be included in it even though most of the guest list got cut due to COVID.

Their ceremony was one of the most special I had seen. Chaney’s long time family friend officiated the wedding, so it was extra special.

Running Mare is quite an amazing little space to have an event, especially a wedding. The picturesque views, green all over, barn for getting ready and a reception, and the beautiful ceremony space right in front of their personal lake is quite amazing.

This was such a happy wedding, given that we all faced the hardships of 2020 at the time. It was so beautiful to be reminded of love, that no matter what we are facing, we have each other. Their good family friend officiated the wedding, which was a special touch. You can see the love shine through Chaney & Connor in these photos. It’s apparent just how in love they are and how much they care about each other.
