This wedding-inspired shoot with Megan and Tyler was so much fun! I got connected with an amazing wedding planner in town, Breanna Grant, who put together this beautiful styled session for a few photographers and I at a new-to-town venue due to open this spring. The Wool Factory was not quite finished yet when this shoot took place.
Although some of the images look steamy, it was actually super super cold! Huge thanks to our models for doing this for us, despite the lack of warmer clothes! It just goes to show that photos do not always show what’s going on in reality – i.e. freezing their butts off!Â
The Wool Factory is in downtown Charlottesville, right next to the river. It’s an old factory-turned-venue that will have a riverside ceremony site, bar & grill, & features turn-of-the-century architecture for a trendy, industrial vibe.
I just love the vibes here and really enjoy working in industrial wedding venues. The contrast between pretty romantic elements like flowers and soft candle light coupled with the red bricks and wrought iron windows makes for such a beautifully eclectic scene. Enjoy the pretty!
